How is A Leg To Stand, A Hand To Feed different than other charities?
We are a group of friends, involved in international development, health and social care and communications that simply wanted to make a difference in the lives of people suffering the worst forms of discrimination adn stigma. All of the money raised goes to the community with leprosy, we do not keep any for admin.
How many people do you impact with your charitable work?
We directly reach 24-30 people in the community affected by leprosy. However the outreach work our local partner "Open Ministry" does in the community around Leprosy awareness raising and referral reaches 100s of community members.
If I make a donation, can I decide what my money is used for?
We would welcome you to take part in our monthly planning sessions with the community.
